Eye care has come a long way over the past decade. Dr. Lelis of the Spectrum Eye Institute stands at the forefront of the most exciting innovation yet - laser vision correction.

The Spectrum Eye Institute provides a full range of services, but it is the LASIK procedure that garners the greatest attention.

The LASIK procedure, which is used to treat nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism - is performed on an outpatient basis.  Most patients are able to resume their normal activities within 24 hours.

The surgery involves the use of the VISX Excimer Star S4 Laser System.  A corneal flap is created under which the laser light is directed.  The flap is then placed over the ablated cornea, allowing for rapid improvement in your uncorrected vision.

You may contact our office for a free screening, and Dr. Lelis would be able to further review the risks and benefits of this exciting vision procedure with you.
